Blue-9 Balance Harness size chart
Blue-9 publishes its Balance Harness chart as an image on the product page, with inches and metric side by side. It sizes by the ribcage, and it asks you to measure in a slightly different spot than most brands.

Before you order
Blue-9 says to measure around the ribcage about 2 inches behind your dog's elbow, which is a little further back than the widest point most brands use. Sizing is also noted as subject to change.
Different brands cut different sizes, so a Medium here is not a Medium elsewhere. Match the chest number every time. The fit check takes a minute once it arrives.

Questions
What size Blue-9 balance harness should I get?
Match your dog's chest girth to the chart on this page. Blue-9's ranges overlap, with five sizes from XS to L. Its chart does not give an in-between rule, so use the strap width as a second clue: the wider straps suit bigger dogs.
Where exactly does Blue-9 want the tape?
Around the ribcage, about 2 inches behind the elbow. For most dogs that is close to the widest part of the chest, but if your dog is deep-chested, measure both spots and use the larger.
How do I measure chest girth?
Stand your dog and wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Keep it snug, with room for two fingers.
